Yes. Article 32 of Decree-Law 50/2005 of 25 February requires self-propelled work equipment, such as forklifts, to be operated only by duly qualified workers. This course's certificate is the proof of that qualification.
It is an intensive course with theory and hands-on practice, running either on weekday evenings across one week or as a weekend intensive. Exact dates and times are confirmed when you enrol.
After you pass the course, we register the certificate on the SIGO platform. The process is normally completed within a few working days.
The SIGO certificate is an official Portuguese document. Abroad, acceptance depends on the employer and the country: many European employers accept it as proof of training, but there is no automatic legal validity across the entire European Union.
